Discreet is an association based in Basel, Switzerland, which promotes the presentation and preservation of musical forms combining contemporary and historically-informed aesthetics in the field of experimental music composition, performance and improvisation practices. The association operates through the commissioning of new compositions and the organisation of concerts, creative residencies, seminars and other in-depth public events, including collaborations between composers, performers and musical ensembles in Switzerland and abroad.
